Non utilizzatela per un uso quotidiano, in quanto potenzialmente soggetta a bug critici che potrebbero portare anche alla perdita di dati.

Inoltre volevo segnalarvi che è possibile testare le varie immagini ISO facendo dei test case, e segnalando eventuali bug, come descritto nelle varie pagine del Gruppo Test :) .

si sono tenuti dei talk molto interessanti e, ovviamente, ho avuto il piacere di conoscere di persona alcune persone con cui collaboro :) , oltre a rivedere le persone che ho conosciuto nei meeting precedenti :) .

  • supporta nove architetture: 32-bit PC / Intel IA-32 (i386), 64-bit PC / Intel EM64T / x86-64 (amd64), Motorola/IBM PowerPC (powerpc), Sun/Oracle SPARC (sparc), MIPS (mips (big-endian) and mipsel (little-endian)), Intel Itanium (ia64), IBM S/390 (s390) e ARM EABI (armel);
  • introduce in anteprima due nuovi port del kernel del progetto FreeBSD sul sistema Debian/GNU: Debian GNU/kFreeBSD per i PC a 32-bit (kfreebsd-i386) e a 64-bit (kfreebsd-amd64);
  • introduce un sistema di avvio basato sulle dipendenze, rendendo così più rapida e robusta la partenza del sistema tramite l’esecuzione parallela degli script d’avvio e il corretto tracciamento delle loro dipendenze.
